Roy Carrasquillo, CLG’s Managing Shareholder, was quoted throughout an article by fDi Intelligence titled, “Cryptocurrencies make move into FDI, bit by bit: Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have made headlines the world over in recent years and now, through initial coin offerings, are making their mark on FDI.” August 16, 2018

Roy Carrasquillo discussed with fDi Intelligence the use of cryptocurrencies and foreign direct investment and how he assisted a foreign client launch an ICO to develop a time share-like condominium project where investors may use Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as part of their capital contribution.

“The main focus of the fundraising has been overseas, so there are a large number of foreign investors.”  Roy further stated to fDi Intelligence that since the US dollar value of cryptocurrency can fluctuate wildly, setting parameters for the valuation of the Bitcoin is important.
