Government Blockchain Association Conference: The Future of Money Governance and the Law in Washington DC January 31, 2020

CLG’s Roy Carrasquillo and Jorge Salichs attended the Government Blockchain Association (“GBA”) conference “The Future of Money Governance and the Law” at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC.

GBA is an international nonprofit professional association whose mission is to bring together all levels of governments from around the world with various industries for creating helpful dialogue that facilitates the efficient, ethical, and rational adoption of blockchain technology to increase the quality of life for all citizens on a global level.

Government leaders from around the world gathered at the U.S. Capitol to discuss their 2020 plans focusing on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Speakers included global legislative and administrative leaders from local, state, and national government agencies.  CLG’s Fintech Practice Group provides legal and consulting services to entities engaging with enterprise Blockchain/DLT solutions and have experience assisting clients with Fintech transactions, including ICOs and token sales, blockchain technology, cryptocurrency matters, and emerging technology.
