Carlos is a strategic and collaborative advisor who draws on his combined legal and financial-services background to counsel developers, sponsors, investors, funds, financial institutions, and privately held businesses on complex transactions, capital formation, and growth initiatives.

His practice includes private capital and project finance transactions, EB-5 financings, Regulation D and Regulation S offerings, private debt and equity raises, tax-incentivized transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate transactions, and general corporate matters. His experience also includes cross-border matters involving foreign investors and financial institutions.

Carlos brings more than 13 years of experience across law, corporate risk management, and financial services. Before joining Carrasquillo Law Group, he served as an Assistant Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s Infrastructure Risk group, where he handled data privacy matters, and practiced at a boutique New York law firm advising clients on corporate financings, private equity transactions, joint ventures, real estate matters, and other commercial transactions.

Carlos earned his B.A. in Economics from Boston College, his J.D. from Tulane University Law School, and his LL.M. in Intellectual Property from NYU School of Law. He is also a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
