Jorge Salichs is a corporate and government affairs attorney with over fourteen years of combined experience in the legal services and management consulting fields. He specializes in corporate law, economic incentives, opportunity zones, commercial contracts advisory, and government affairs. Jorge has built a very successful niche practice advising companies and investors seeking to take advantage of Puerto Rico’s corporate tax incentives and investment opportunities, and actively advocates for, and promotes the multiple economic development initiatives being carried out in Puerto Rico.

Jorge advises clients on corporate structuring, capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, real estate transactions, 1031 exchanges, opportunity zones, and infrastructure development, with an emphasis on Puerto Rico and Latin America. He routinely counsels U.S. and international companies and high net-worth individuals considering relocation or opening of businesses in Puerto Rico, in order to maximize available opportunities under Puerto Rico’s Code of Incentives (Act 60).

Jorge currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and is also an active member in various trade and professional organizations, including the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the National Hispanic Bar Association. Jorge is also a brand ambassador of the Alumni Society, a highly influential network of Latino Ivy-League educated executives and leaders in the corporate world.
