Roy Carrasquillo, CLG’s Managing Shareholder, was quoted throughout an article by The Legal Intelligencer titled, “Cozen O’Connor Lawyer Spins Off Latin American Practice to NY Boutique” about starting CLG. August 21, 2018

Roy Carrasquillo discussed with The Legal Intelligencer the opening of CLG as a boutique law firm in New York, together with William Kogan and Ericka Ramos.  Roy elaborated that the focus of the Firm would initially be corporate, securities, Latin American and EB-5 investor program matters.

Roy elaborated further on the importance of having billing flexibility and being able to adapt to the clients’ needs to better serve them.  He stated that “the model of the law firm where everything is compartmentalized into departments makes it difficult to have that flexibility.”  He also informed The Legal Intelligencer that at a boutique firm such as CLG would allow high-level partners to work more closely with clients “in a more intimate environment.”

Finally, Roy mentioned that there were plans to expand CLG’s Tax and Business Immigration Practices in South Florida.

CLG is a boutique law firm with attorneys experienced advising international and domestic clients with their business and legal needs in the United States, as well as worldwide clients with their international business and legal needs.  CLG brings its clients international perspective with a  local understanding.
